About Michelle Zink
Michelle Zink is a certified strategic life coach and the critically acclaimed author of over fifty published novels and seven novellas.
Her first traditionally published series received starred reviews from Kirkus and Booklist and was one of Booklist's Top Ten Debut novels of that year. Her work has also been an Indie Next selection and has appeared on prestigious lists such as the Lonestar List, New York Public Library's Stuff for the Teen Age, and Chicago Public Library's Best of the Best. She won the Teen Read Award for Best Villain against Lord Voldemort. Her books have been published in over thirty countries and translated into over twenty languages.
After selling her first trilogy in a near seven-figure pre-empt to Little Brown, Michelle obtained six additional book contracts with Penguin/Dial, Harper, and Kingswell. She has worked with Disney and ABC on book/TV companion projects and is the author of Henry and Violet, a Once Upon a Time novel set in the OUAT TV universe.
In 2015, Michelle decided to try her hand at Indie publishing under the pen name Michelle St. James. She went on to traditionally publish three more books while building an Indie catalog that now includes over 50 books, plus audio and translations in German and French.
In 2018, Michelle made the decision to go all in on Indie.
She lives in a converted barn with a leaking roof, an 80-pound pup, and three perpetually annoyed cats. She spends her free time doing yoga, wishing Succession wasn’t over, and talking about Indie publishing to anyone who will listen.
